About CSFNM

The Creation Science Fellowship of New Mexico (CSFNM) is a registered 508(c)1 non-profit educational organization chartered in New Mexico in 1991 for the purpose of providing resources to help educate people in the truths of Creation, Young Earth, and Biblical accuracy and reliability. We are registered in the State of Washington.

We are a fellowship of Christians: scientists and lay people dedicated to understanding and explaining origins as revealed by scientific discovery and Biblical truth.  CSFNM is not a political organization, nor is CSFNM affiliated with any particular church, denomination, congregation, or any type of “religious” organization. People of all beliefs and faiths are welcome to attend our meetings and to use and enjoy the resources on this website.

CSFNM is an association of people from all walks of life who are interested in learning about the Age of the Earth, Creation, Evolution, Earth History and the observed science which supports the Bible's account thereof. The Fellowship operates with a volunteer administration led by an elected Board of Directors who are subject to a Constitution and By-Laws.

The Mission of Creation Science Fellowship of New Mexico is:

"To provide and promote educational resources and opportunities which support the teaching, learning, and study of Biblical creation and young earth worldviews."

Comment:
A.) We cannot and are not competing with the 'big' creation websites. We want to impact our local area plus offer resources of interest to a wider audience. Most resources are location-independent.

B.) We are 'CSF-NM' and not 'CSF-ABQ' because 1) the name was chosen years ago; 2) almost everybody knows where 'NM' is (except those who think you need a passport to travel here); 3) we are not limited to a geographical area by virtue of the internet; 4) we can and are serving the entire state of NM - to some extent.

Our mission will be accomplished, in part, by:

  • holding monthly meetings to present talks or videos of interest;

  • providing on-line and meeting resources for learning/teaching/instruction in Creation topics;

  • having a display with book/DVD resources for sale and lending at said meetings; and...

  • sponsoring a book table at outside gatherings (seminars, meetings, etc) which invite us to have a display in their facility

  • supporting the Homeschool Community with creation/young earth resources;

  • supporting research and study by linking to quality creation websites;

  • providing quality speakers to any group or organization interested in hosting a presentation;

  • hosting reviews of books, DVDs and articles on our website;

  • interacting with our audience to update and improve our website with new materials, etc.

The Scientific Method

Our "Mission Statement" is further defined per the "Scientific Method". (2015)

The scientific method is the process by which researchers and scientists, collectively and over time, endeavor to construct an accurate - that is, reliable, consistent and non-arbitrary - representation of the physical (universe) world. Science that does not comply with this process is not real science. Recognizing that personal and cultural beliefs influence both our perceptions and our interpretations of natural phenomena, we aim through the use of standard procedures and criteria to minimize those influences when developing a theory. In summary, the "scientific method" attempts to minimize the influence of bias or prejudice in the experimenter when testing a hypothesis or a theory.

A discussion of the "Scientific Method" is found here.

Speakers

Our Organization has several well-qualified public speakers as members. If you are interested (at all!) in having a speaker in your facility to talk about various aspects of: creation, young earth, evolution, Bible: Genesis 1-11, or other topics, please visit our "Speakers Bureau" page to learn about the speakers and their topics. We will have (some day!) short clips of each person presenting a segment of a selected talk. We will work with you to determine the speaker, date, time and topic. Most of our presenters would like at least 2 to 4 weeks notice. There is no fee for the speaker. However if extensive travel or extended stay is necessary, we may require reimbursement for travel expenses.

We can also direct you to qualified speakers on other sites.
If you are interested in scheduling a creation talk or discussion at your school, church or home, please email us.
